Community Orchestras Association Halloween Howl
This was truly an amazing event. The Sechelt Indian Band had already decorated every part of their hall with every imaginable Halloween character. Not only were the musicians in better than ever costumes but a large number of the audience members
came costumed, really getting into the 'spirit' of the event. There were costume prizes, candy and prizes for all the chidlren.
The Community Orchestra Association members have become known for their culinary talents and generosity when they host a
musical event. There was a huge selection of home baking for intermission, witches fingers being the favourite!
The Youth Orchestra was joined by some even younger violinists who played brilliantly. (fast ,in tune and with dynamics..wow)
The Concert Band played an exciting Bolero and a very scary March To The Scaffold.
.The Sunshine Coast Symphony, led by Arturo Toscanini in his yearly appearance, terrified the audience with Funeral March of the Marionettes, In the Hall of the Mountain King and Dark Adventure. Dark Adventure being played by all the groups.
